9 So[a] Herod[b] questioned him at considerable length; Jesus[c] gave him no answer. 10 The chief priests and the experts in the law[d] were there, vehemently accusing him.[e] 11 Even Herod with his soldiers treated him with contempt and mocked him. Then,[f] dressing him in elegant clothes,[g] Herod[h] sent him back to Pilate.
